Welcome to Mrs. Z’s Busy Bees
“Let’s Change our channel together”
Mrs. Z’s Busy Bees was born from the shared vision of two passionate individuals who wanted to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children today and for generations to come. Our mission is simple: to teach kids that emotions are okay and to help them learn how to navigate their feelings in constructive and empowering ways.
In a world that often emphasizes “getting back to basics,” we believe that the true basics lie in emotional learning. It’s not about suppressing emotions; it’s about understanding, embracing, and handling them in healthy, productive ways. We created this platform to be a part of the solution, fostering a space where kids can grow emotionally, learn critical life skills, and thrive as the unique individuals they are.
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow emotionally, regardless of whether they are neurodivergent or neurotypical. We want our kids to be better than us—to learn healthy coping skills, set boundaries, and embrace the beauty of our differences. Our goal is to raise good humans who are smart, capable, strong, and especially loved.
Social-emotional learning (SEL) is a powerful way to achieve this, but it’s not something that happens in isolation. Learning isn’t done in a bubble. It’s achieved through hands-on experiences, modeling, role-playing, and, most importantly, having fun. Communication is the key to unlocking success, and through this page, we aim to help families and educators build those essential bridges.
Our tagline, “Let’s change our channel together,” is a call to action for all of us to shift how we approach emotional development. We don’t claim to have all the answers, but we are committed to being part of the solution, not the problem. By working together, we can guide our kids to become the resilient, kind, and emotionally intelligent individuals they’re meant to be.
This isn’t a new concept. SEL has been around for a long time, but we’re here to make it practical, loving, and accessible. Join us as we explore the wonders of how kids learn and grow. Let’s become the emotional guides our children need and deserve.
